We evaluate, diagnose and treat all forms of arthritis, vasculitis and related connective tissue diseases. These conditions include rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, systemic lupus, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, Reiter's syndrome, gout, pseudogout, scleroderma, Sjogren's syndrome, polymyositis, dermatomyositis, polymyalgia rheumatica, temporal arteritis, vasculitic illnesses including Wegener's granulomatosis and polyarteritis nodosa, sarcoidosis, Raynaud's syndrome and regional musculoskeletal syndromes including bursitis, tendinitis, and myofascial pain. Additionally, we specialize in the evaluation and treatment of osteoporosis. Our office utilizes the most advanced bone density testing instrumentation which precisely measures bone mineral density and also allows for assessment of prior vertebral fractures.
In addition to bone density testing/vertebral fracture assessment, we also offer on-site phlebotomy (blood drawing) for laboratory testing, X-ray services, and infusion of biologic agents.
Appointments
Appointments may be scheduled with any of our physicians by calling 704-342-0252. Patients requiring immediate medical attention will be scheduled for an appointment as soon as possible. New patients are requested to arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled appointment to complete the necessary forms. Please bring the appropriate referral forms along with your insurance cards to each appointment.

Medical Records
Our ability to accurately diagnose and treat your condition may be facilitated by bringing any pertinent previous medical records. Prior laboratory studies and/or x-rays (including MRI's, bone density tests, bone scans, etc.) related to your illness are always reviewed and providing these at the time of your evaluation may help us eliminate unnecessary duplication of services. Many patients have past medical histories that are complicated or cannot be readily recalled at the time of their evaluation. If you are a new patient to our practice, please take the time before your visit with us to complete the past medical history, social and personal history, family history, and review of systems sections that we mailed to you. If we have followed you previously and significant medical problems have occurred in the interim, please bring these records with you at the time of your visit. For all patients, we will strive to communicate our findings with your primary care provider and appropriate specialists; likewise we encourage your other physicians to keep us informed about any changes in your health.

Prescriptions
Requests for prescription refills should be made at the time of your office visit. To assure patient safety, prescriptions for controlled substances, including pain medications, will not be renewed after office hours, when the physician doesn't have access to your medical records.
Please bring an
updated list of all
of your medications!
