Board-certified Family nurse practitioner. She has 18 years of experience in rheumatology as a Nurse practitioner, with 12 of those years at AOCC.
Member of RNS, Rhapp, AWIR, and NCRA. Heather is a certified clinical densitometrist and a member of ISCD. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children and gardening.

She continued her schooling at UNCC and received her Master of Science Degree in Nursing and her FNP degree in 2004.
Heather has worked in Rheumatology as a Nurse Practitioner since 2005. Prior to working in rheumatology she was a Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice for one year. As a nurse she has experience in medical-surgical nursing, infusion therapy nursing and Emergency Room nursing.
