Vasculitis

Vasculitis refers to various conditions that cause inflammation of the blood vessels. These can occur in and of themselves (idiopathic) or secondary to another condition. While some forms of vasculitis can be localized to the skin, other types may affect the respiratory system and kidneys and can be serious. 

Assessment of these conditions usually involves a physical exam, lab work, and often a tissue biopsy. After reviewing all of your information as a whole, your provider will come up with the best treatment course for you.
